SRX14404632: ONT reads of Cynopterus sphinx: adult female liver
1 OXFORD_NANOPORE (PromethION) run: 2.5M spots, 66.5G bases, 52.5Gb downloads

Design: The Nanopore library was constructed for long-read sequencing on the PromethION platform

Study: Cynopterus sphinx isolate:CYSPWHU Genome sequencing and assembly
show Abstracthide Abstract
Old World fruit bats (Pteropodidae) have been identified as the natural reservoir hosts of several zoonotic viruses, prompting suggestions that these bats have evolved unique immunological adaptations. To gain a better understanding of the possible mechanisms underlying viral tolerance in these bats, we developed a new assembly pipeline to generate a reference-quality genome of the short-nosed fruit bat Cynopterus sphinx, with complete or near-complete chromosomes
Sample: Greater short-nosed fruit bat from Cynopterus sphinx
